Talent Acquisition Associate

The Talent Acquisition Associate manages full-cycle recruiting for operations roles at funeral homes and cemeteries, and supports corporate hiring. This role partners closely with location leadership and hiring managers, sources candidates actively, and keeps every requisition moving from intake through offer acceptance.

What You Will Do

Manage full-cycle recruiting, source candidates, conduct initial phone screens, create and post job advertisements, maintain requisition and candidate records, monitor requisition activity, coordinate interviews, support the offer process, communicate with candidates, and build and maintain talent pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.

Requirements

• 2-4 years in full-cycle recruiting, staffing, HR coordination, or internal/corporate recruiting
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in an applicant tracking system, with the discipline to keep records current
• Working knowledge of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, or comparable platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication, representing Carriage professionally to every audience
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions across several locations at once
• Self-directed: follows up, escalates when appropriate, and moves work forward without being prompted
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential candidate and employee information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to travel occasionally to locations, career fairs, and hiring events
