Role Overview

The Case Manager is responsible for providing client services to TANF applicants, including interviewing clients, assessing client situations, and developing client case/service plans.

What You Will Do

Conduct interviews, verify client information, maintain client records, process applications, and make referrals for community resources and services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate Degree in Human Services or related field with one year case work experience
  • Twenty-four semester hours of college coursework with a Human Services focus or related field with two years relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience working with Native Americans
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Keyboarding skills for data entry
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Tribal Law on abuse and neglect of individuals
  • Knowledge of Confidentiality Laws and Regulations
