Role Overview

The Tank Fabricator will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, modification, and welding of petroleum tanks, trailers, and related equipment. The ideal candidate is a skilled fabricator and certified welder who takes pride in producing safe, high-quality work while maintaining compliance with applicable Federal DOT cargo tank standards and regulations.

What You Will Do

Fabricate, repair, modify, and rebuild petroleum tanks, trailers, and related equipment. Perform welding and fabrication work according to job specifications, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional tank fabrication experience required.
  • Current welding certification required.
  • Demonstrated welding and fabrication skills.
  • Experience with layout, fitting, cutting, forming, and fabrication of tank and trailer components.
  • Knowledge and understanding of petroleum tanks, trailers, and equipment accessories.
  • Ability to read measurements and follow fabrication specifications and repair instructions.
  • Ability to identify structural damage and determine appropriate repair or fabrication methods.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must have tools necessary to perform job functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a shop environment.
