Role OverviewWe are searching for a DOT certified Trailer Mechanic with 2-4+ years of tank and/or trailer repair and inspection experience for our Port Allen, LA location. The team excels in offering mission-critical services.
What You Will Do
Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer. Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).

The ideal candidate has demonstrated skill in areas such as tank service and repair, trailer suspension installation and repair, air brake systems and repairs, and TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience.
Requirements
- DOT certification
- 2-4+ years of tank and/or trailer repair and inspection experience
- Demonstrated skill in tank service and repair
- Trailer suspension installation and repair
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
