Role Overview

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 to 5 years of tanker repair experience. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole and work in confined spaces.

What You Will Do

Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer. Perform tank service and repair, trailer suspension installation and repair, and experience with air brake systems and repairs.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: tank service and repair, trailer suspension installation and repair, experience with air brake systems and repairs, and ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).

Requirements

  • DOT inspection certified
  • 3 to 5 years of tanker repair experience
