Job Description
Ingram Marine Group is seeking a shore Tankerperson or those interested in becoming a Tankerperson Trainee to join the CFS shore-based team in East Carondelet, IL. The role involves ensuring safe crew, vessel, and tow operations, managing fueling operations, and assisting with inspections and maintenance. The position is eligible for overtime and offers a competitive starting rate of $20.16/hour for trainees.

Requirements

  • Leadperson experience highly preferred
  • Ability to safely operate aboard a vessel and perform necessary tasks within the safety guidelines
  • Ability to respond quickly to unexpected circumstances and safety concerns
  • Ability to identify and employ appropriate safety practices in order to manage risks
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
