Role OverviewAs a Target Security Specialist, you will be responsible for keeping team members and guests safe and secure, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a physical security culture. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and team members, and will be required to work a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts.
What You Will Do
A typical day will include greeting guests, helping them find what they need, resolving issues, and promoting a physical security culture. You will also respond to security incidents, accurately document cases, and use Target's video surveillance system. Additionally, you will conduct merchandise theft recoveries, prevent theft and shortage, and submit documentation in the case management system.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
