Target Security Specialist

As a Target Security Specialist, you will be responsible for keeping team members and guests safe and secure, responding to security incidents, and preventing theft and shortage. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting sales and providing excellent customer service.

What You Will Do

Your typical day will include welcoming and engaging guests, leading a physical security culture, responding to security incidents, and conducting productive merchandise recoveries. You will also train team members on merchandise protection and audit execution.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position

• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
• Climb up and down ladders
• Apprehend subjects in accordance with company policy
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
