Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of tax engagements while expanding your expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.

What You Will Do

Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, LLCs, trusts, and individuals. Prepare complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients. Research federal, state, and local tax laws to support compliance and planning initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax.
  • Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
