Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join a well-established public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, executives, and individuals. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with 3–5 years of public accounting experience and a strong background in tax preparation, compliance, planning, and client service.
What You Will Do
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations, as well as complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has a significantly stronger tax background than audit or assurance experience and is comfortable working directly with clients on complex tax matters.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of public accounting experience
- Strong experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns
- Significantly more tax experience than audit or assurance
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- CPA license or CPA candidacy preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
