Role OverviewJoin Northrop Grumman's Corporate Tax Department as a Property Tax Accountant/Principal Tax Accountant. This role will be located in Irving, TX, and will involve maintaining compliance calendars, collaborating with property management, and performing PTMS data imports. The position will also involve leading personal property tax audits, reviewing real estate and personal property assessment notices, and managing property tax appeals.
What You Will Do
Maintain comprehensive compliance calendars, collaborate with property management, perform PTMS data imports, prepare and file annual real estate and business personal property tax returns, lead personal property tax audits, review real estate and personal property assessment notices, manage property tax appeals, and verify tax bills against renditions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field
- 2-6 years of property tax experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with property tax reporting software systems such as PTMS
- SAP knowledge (preferred)
- Aerospace/Defense industry experience (preferred)
- Big 4 & industry tax experience (preferred)
- Experience utilizing generative AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and project outcomes (preferred)
