Job Description
The Vermont Department of Taxes is seeking a motivated professional to conduct audits that ensure the fair and accurate administration of Vermont's tax laws. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, digitally savvy, and self-driven, with a genuine desire to grow, develop, and contribute to a strong public mission.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in accounting, finance, public administration, mathematics, business management or a related field.
  • One (1) or more years of experience in tax examination/preparation, accounting, or financial operations.
  • Two (2) years or more of experience as a Tax Examiner II or Tax Analyst I or higher, with the State Of Vermont Department Of Taxes.
