Role OverviewThis is a Tax Auditor I position in the General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process. The incumbent performs basic audits to determine tax compliance as it relates to sales and use tax, limited scope audits, or reemployment tax audits. Additional duties include examining and analyzing accounting systems of taxpayers, computing tax assessments or refund adjustments, preparing detailed reports of audit results, and participating in or independently conducting conferences with taxpayers or taxpayers' representatives.
What You Will Do
