Role OverviewThe Tax Coordinator will provide administrative support to the tax department, process deliverables, and assist with special projects as needed. The role requires experience with tax processing, excellent computer proficiency, and strong client orientation. The Tax Coordinator will work collaboratively with multiple departments and team members, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include year-round processing of deliverables, sending deliverables to clients, preparing engagement letters and tax organizers, answering phone calls, and coordinating mailings. The Tax Coordinator will also organize and file confidential client information, prepare Power of Attorney forms, and assist in maintaining databases.

Requirements
- Experience with a CPA firm is preferred but not required
- Experience with processing individual, partnership, and trust income tax returns is preferred but not required
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment
- Excellent computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook)
- A willingness to learn tax related software systems
