Role Overview

As a Tax Credit Senior Property Manager, you will plan, control, and direct the daily operations of a single large, complex asset, typically with 400+ units. You will maintain positive resident relations, meet financial objectives, protect the value and integrity of the real estate, and manage on-site staff.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include preparing the property's annual budget, providing reporting and monthly variance reporting, soliciting bids, processing purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely collection and deposit of rents and fees, and maintaining optimum level of occupancy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience with HUD / Project-Based Section 8 in a property management role
  • Knowledge of LIHTC and HUD regulations
  • Knowledge of property management, including landlord and tenant laws
  • A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office and Real Page
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to manage and work with a diverse group of people and personalities
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, independent and a self-starter
