Job Description

Glen Raven is recruiting for a Tax Director to lead the organization’s global tax strategy, compliance, and reporting activities.

Requirements

Lead and oversee the company’s overall tax strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance.
Manage all income tax compliance activities, including federal, state, local, and international tax matters.
Review and approve federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Lead indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax, VAT, and other transactional taxes, as applicable.
Advise leadership on tax planning initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts to the organization; communicate implications to leadership.
Serve as the primary liaison with external tax advisors, auditors, and taxing authorities.
Review and manage all responses to tax notices.
Manage tax audits and examinations, including responding to information requests and negotiating resolutions.
Drive global tax planning initiatives, including transfer pricing strategies, international tax compliance while optimizing the company’s tax position across jurisdictions.
Lead, mentor, and develop tax team members, fostering a high‐performance and compliant tax function.
Support cross‐functional partners (Finance, Legal, HR, Supply Chain) on tax‐related matters and business initiatives.
