Job Description
The Tax Experienced Manager, Core Tax Services is responsible for advising clients on tax implications, evaluating alternative actions, and identifying methods of complying with tax regulations. The role involves applying knowledge to understand potential tax issues, recognizing and communicating risks, and making top-level decisions. The Tax Experienced Manager will be a critical member of the office/region leadership team and actively participate in marketing, networking, and business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree, required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, preferred
  • Masters in Accountancy or Taxation, preferred
  • Six (6) or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required
  • Prior supervisory experience, required
  • Industry expertise in one or more tax specialty, preferred
  • CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations), required
  • Possession of other professional degrees or certifications applicable to role, preferred
