Tax Intern: Spring 2027

As a Tax Intern, you will assist in preparing individual, trust, estate, gift, foundation, and business tax returns, and conduct tax research to support tax planning and compliance efforts.

What You Will Do

Prepare tax returns, review tax source documents, conduct tax research, assist with handling tax notices and audits, maintain tax files, collect and input financial records, and analyze tax data to maximize client outcomes.

Requirements

• Solid accounting and knowledge of tax laws and regulations in general
• Interest in preparing individual, trust, and business tax returns
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and willingness to learn tax software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior problem-solving abilities as well as good decision-making skills
• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a variety of projects accurately and simultaneously within strict deadlines
• Ability to provide exceptional client service and exhibits a sense a of urgency to complete work in a timely and accurate manner
