Job Description
Whitley Penn is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing multiple tax projects and client engagements simultaneously, and developing, training associates and making associations to develop new business for the firm.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Public Accounting experience
  • Active CPA license
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and positive attitude
  • Extensive knowledge of Internal Revenue Code and other tax laws, regulations, and guidance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to assess, analyze and manage risk using appropriate frameworks, professional judgment, and skepticism
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to lead and work respectfully and productively with diverse individuals in a variety of roles
