Role Overview

The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking a Tax Program Assistant Administrator to lead a team of supervisors and tax examiners in the Personal Income and School District Tax Division. The successful candidate will assist in developing and executing policies, procedures, and long-term strategic goals, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do

As a Tax Program Assistant Administrator, you will lead a team, develop and execute policies, review trends in taxation, conduct tax technical training, and provide customer service.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate core program in accounting, business, public administration or related field which included 3 courses in accounting
  • 42 mos. exp. in accounting, auditing &/or taxation
  • 24 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques
  • 12 mos. exp. in customer service
