Role OverviewThe incumbent provides professional level support in coordination of bankruptcy collections for tax and child support matters. The incumbent performs in-depth reviews of Department records, related federal and state documents, and court orders to determine tax or child support implications and debtor liability under federal and state law.
What You Will Do
Initiates collection and enforcement actions to ensure the bankruptcy debtor’s compliance with tax and child support laws administered by the Department, in accordance with related federal bankruptcy court statutes and orders.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires three years of collections experience within the General Tax Administration Program, and the incumbent must be able to travel locally to taxpayers’ business locations.
