Job Description
Investigates complex and advanced cases, serves as team lead, and distributes workload among team members. Conducts interviews, gathers evidence, and prepares reports. May travel and drive for investigations and presentations.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with major course work in criminal justice, public administration, government, or related area of study.
  • One year of experience in general investigative work may substitute for thirty semester hours of the required education, with a maximum substitution of 60 semester hours (two years).
  • Must be a current TBPELS employee and currently an Investigator III-V.
