Job Description
The TCEQ is seeking a Budget Analyst IV to support the overall budget process, compile and maintain budgetary data, and complete projects as a lead. The role requires experience in budgetary reports, Microsoft Access and Excel, and USAS, ABEST, and CAPPS systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business or a related field and three years of experience in budget preparation or analysis.

Requirements

  • Developing budgetary reports
  • Presenting budget forecasts, deviations, and/or problems to executive management
  • Using Microsoft Access and/or Excel
  • Using USAS, ABEST, and/or CAPPS systems
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course work in business, public administration, or a related field
  • Three years of full-time experience in a professional or technical capacity involving budget preparation or analysis
  • Registration as a Certified Public Accountant or a master's degree from an accredited college or university
