Job Description
Join TCEQ and grow with an environmental state agency as a Director VI (Deputy Director) in the Budget and Planning Division, overseeing daily activities, goals, and objectives to meet state requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in state government accounting and management, including experience with the State of Texas legislative budget processes
  • Experience with USAS (Uniform Statewide Accounting System), CAPPS (Centralized Accounting Payroll/Personnel System), and ABEST (Automated Budget and Evaluation System)
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment, or experience in managing a business function, division, or department
  • Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure
