Job Description
We are looking for a Marine Mechanic with the capability to repair and maintain various types of marine engines, including internal and external engines, as well as shipboard electrical systems. The position involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, performing routine maintenance, and assisting customers with their marine equipment needs.

Requirements

  • Repair and maintain internal and external marine engines
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems on ships
  • Perform regular engine adjustments and oil changes to prevent failures
  • Conduct detailed hull inspections, identifying and addressing wear or damage
  • Install and repair shipboard electrical systems
  • Replace or repair propellers, gear systems, and other critical ship components
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Assist customers in selecting suitable marine equipment and provide guidance on its use
  • Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Proper storage of tools and materials
