Requirements

• Diagnose mechanical problems in small engine-equipped equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, chainsaws, snow blowers).
• Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plug inspections, and carburetor cleaning.
• Repair or replace defective components, such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems.
• Provide clients with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations.
• Document the service work performed and ensure accurate records are kept for each job.
• Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications and operates optimally.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and methods for repairing small engines.
