Job Description
The Small Engine Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing small engines used in outdoor power equipment, such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, and snow blowers, and providing support to customers both in-person and through remote or virtual consultations.

Requirements

  • Diagnose mechanical problems in equipment with small engines
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plug inspections, and carburetor cleaning
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations
  • Document service work performed and ensure accurate records are maintained for each job
  • Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications and operates optimally
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols
