Job Description
The Small Engine Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing small engines used in outdoor power equipment, providing support to customers, and advising on necessary repairs or maintenance.

Requirements

  • Diagnostic and repair of mechanical problems in small engine equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, air filter replacement, spark plug inspection and carburetor cleaning
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as belts, spark plugs and fuel systems
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations
  • Document service work performed and ensure accurate records for each job
  • Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications and operates optimally
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and methods for small engine repair
