Job Description
The Small Engine Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of small engines used in power equipment for outdoor use, and provides support to customers both in-person and through remote or virtual consultations.

Requirements

  • Diagnose mechanical problems in equipment with small engines
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plug inspections, and carburetor cleanings
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems
  • Document the service work performed and ensure that accurate records are kept for each job
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and methods for repairing small engines
