Job Description
The Small Engine Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing small engines used in outdoor power equipment, providing customer support, and maintaining detailed documentation of the service.

Requirements

  • Diagnose mechanical problems in equipment with small engines
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plug inspections, and carburetor cleaning
  • Repair or replace defective components, such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations
  • Document the work performed and ensure that accurate records are kept for each job
  • Ensure that all equipment meets manufacturer specifications and operates optimally
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and methods for repairing small engines
