Job Description
The Small Engine Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing small engines used in outdoor power equipment. The technician diagnoses mechanical problems, performs routine services, and provides support to customers both in person and through remote consultations.

Requirements

  • Diagnostic problems in small engine equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, air filter replacement, spark plug inspection, and carburetor cleaning
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations
  • Document the work performed and ensure accurate records for each job
  • Ensure that all equipment meets manufacturer specifications and operates optimally
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and small engine repair methods
