Job Description
The Small Engine Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of small engines used in outdoor power equipment. The position includes diagnosing mechanical problems, performing routine services, and providing support to customers in person and through remote or virtual consultations.

Requirements

  • Diagnostic problems with mechanical issues in small engines
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plug inspections, and carburetor cleaning
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations
  • Document the work performed and ensure accurate records for each job
  • Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications and operates optimally
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and methods for small engine repair
