Job Description
The Technician of Heavy Vehicle Tires is responsible for inspecting, repairing and replacing tires in heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses and commercial fleets. The job requires ensuring that tires are properly balanced, mounted and inflated, maintaining a high standard of safety and service. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential tire services to commercial vehicles and ensuring optimal performance for clients.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent GED
  • Certification in heavy vehicle tire repair or related fields is an advantage
  • Previous experience in heavy vehicle tire repair
  • Familiarity with tire safety standards and tire mounting equipment
  • More than 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle tire repair
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred
  • Experience working in fleet service environments is an advantage
  • Advanced tire repair techniques, including retreading and complex repairs

Benefits

  • Compensation between $37,440 and $66,560 per year, based on experience and availability
