Job Description
The Tire Service Technician specializes in inspecting, repairing and replacing tires on light vehicles, including cars and trucks. Key responsibilities include repairing leaks, balancing, rotating tires, ensuring proper inflation and adhering to tire safety standards. Tire Service Technicians are also responsible for advising clients on tire maintenance to improve performance and longevity.

Requirements

  • Inspect and evaluate the condition of tires in search of wear, damage or defects.
  • Repair punctures or leaks using suitable patching techniques.
  • Mount, balance and rotate tires for optimal vehicle performance.
  • Ensure proper tire inflation and adherence to safety standards.
  • Advise clients on tire maintenance, including rotation schedules and replacement needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.
