Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of commercial buses. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing thorough repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the technician will provide support to customers both in person and remotely or virtually, advising on necessary repairs or maintenance, ensuring that equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications, and maintaining detailed documentation of services performed to support interactions in the workshop and virtually.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, specifically in commercial buses
  • Solid knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
  • ASE certification in diesel mechanics or related field
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • More than 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair, including experience with commercial bus systems
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to solve and resolve complex mechanical problems
  • Experience in fleet management and working with a variety of commercial buses
