Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician with experience to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of commercial buses. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing thorough repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the technician will provide support to customers both in person and remotely, advising on necessary repairs or maintenance, ensuring that the equipment operates in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, and maintaining detailed documentation of services performed to support interactions in the shop and virtually.

Requirements

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems in commercial buses, ensuring all systems function correctly.
  • Perform engine rebuilds, routine maintenance, and inspections to guarantee the optimal performance of buses.
  • Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as repair brakes and other issues related to systems.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure buses are ready for safe and reliable operation.
  • Test bus performance and identify areas requiring repairs or replacements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during repairs.
  • Maintain precise service records and documentation of work performed.
  • Ensure all repair and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
