Job Description
The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) is hiring a Windstorm Inspector to inspect buildings constructed in the first tier of counties along the Texas Gulf Coast for building code compliance. The ideal candidate will perform physical inspections, meet with contractors and engineers, and develop education programs for the public and industry professionals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Nine months of experience in the construction community
  • Class C Texas Driver's License
  • Passing the International Code Council Coastal exam or its equivalent
