Job Description
We are seeking a full-time teacher to educate girls in grades 6-12 social studies at Pace Center for Girls in Wilton Manors, FL. Our year-round program provides a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to girl-centered education.

Requirements

  • Design standards-based lesson plans and align instruction to teach across multiple grade levels
  • Use formal and informal assessment to monitor progress and plan instruction to meet individual needs
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that is girl-centered, trauma-informed and strength-based
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment
