Job Description
This position is a Teacher 1 role in the Horticulture program at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. The teacher will provide instruction in turf management, business management, and individual assistance to inmates. The role also involves assessing educational needs, developing lesson plans, and maintaining discipline and security.

Requirements

  • Teacher Certificate/License appropriate for career-tech - horticulture & grade level as assigned
  • Baccalaureate degree or less per OEA agreement
  • Ability to obtain Teacher Certificate or License prior to employment
