Teacher Aide (Special Education)

The Teacher Aide (Special Education) will assist in the education of students with special needs. The position requires a valid California Driver's License or valid form of identification, First Aid and CPR certifications, and Highly Qualified status. The district will provide assistance to candidates who do not meet the initial education requirements through the NCLB testing Opportunity.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver's License or valid form of identification
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• Highly Qualified status using the following education requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent AND (a) Two years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units), OR (b) Possess an Associate's or higher degree, OR (c) Successful completion of a Fontana Unified School District-approved Paraprofessional Certificate and/or Paraprofessional Assessment Exam.
