Role OverviewThe Teacher Aide (Special Education) will assist the special education teacher in providing educational services to students with special needs. The role involves working in a part-time capacity, supporting the teacher in the classroom, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with students with special needs and a willingness to learn and grow in this role.
What You Will Do
The Teacher Aide will assist the special education teacher in providing educational services to students with special needs, including but not limited to: providing one-on-one support to students, assisting with lesson planning and implementation, and helping to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.

Requirements
- Valid California Driver's License or valid form of identification
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- Highly Qualified status using the following education requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent AND (a) Two years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units), OR (b) Possess an Associate's or higher degree, OR (c) Successful completion of a Fontana Unified School District-approved Paraprofessional Certificate and/or Paraprofessional Assessment Exam.
