Job Description
Ombudsman Educational Services is seeking a Teacher to join their award-winning Alternative Education team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field, and a valid MS state teaching credential. Prior experience working with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction, preferably in an alternative or special education setting, is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field
  • Valid MS state teaching credential
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training
  • Prior experience working with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction
  • Prior experience teaching mathematics and/or English at a high school level preferred
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in alternative educational services and/or working with at-risk students with diverse needs at various levels preferred
