Role OverviewThe Teacher Assistant provides direct support to students and helps monitor and manage student behavior in both classroom and non-classroom settings. This role may involve working one-on-one with students, supervising during transitions, and stepping in when the teacher is out of the room.
What You Will Do
Provide individual or small-group assistance to students under the direction of the teacher, supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times, support classroom management by monitoring student behavior and engagement, and step in to maintain classroom structure if the teacher is temporarily out of the room.
Why It Might Be a Fit

Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience (preferably 2+ years) working with children
