Role Overview

The Teacher fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by guiding, inspiring, and educating students in a loving, Christ-centered environment. The Teacher is responsible for carrying out policies of the school and the Archdiocese of San Antonio as they relate to the function of the school, the classroom, and the immediate contact with students and parents.

What You Will Do

Develop and implement lesson plans, present subject matter, plan and use instructional and learning strategies, conduct assessment of student learning styles, and work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals and methods.

Requirements

  • Catechesis of the Good Certification- Level I and II
  • License and Credentials
  • Technology proficiency in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and internet use for educational purposes and multimedia presentations
  • Demonstrated competency in the subject assigned area(s)
  • Pass archdiocesan Safe Environment Requirements and background screening
  • Pass Texas DPS Fingerprint-based Applicant Clearinghouse screening
