Job Description
The Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the Colorado School of Mines is seeking a full-time teaching faculty position for a Teaching Assistant Professor to begin in August 2026. The position is non-tenure-track at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in a related discipline from an accredited program by the time of appointment
  • Established record of successful teaching as an instructor of record at the undergraduate level for mathematics (Calculus 1 or higher), statistics, or data science courses
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and curriculum development at the undergraduate (and graduate) level
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
