Role OverviewJoin our HII Mission Technologies team as a Team Lead for Special Projects. The selected candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for executing complex shipboard modernization, repair, installation, and maintenance projects. The team will work on the overhaul and repairs of various supply and exhaust ventilation systems.
What You Will Do
Provides leadership and technical direction for a team, plans and prioritizes work activities, coordinates personnel and materials, and ensures safe, high-quality, and on-time completion of assigned work. Performs and oversees the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, testing, and modification of shipboard equipment and integrated systems.

We are seeking a candidate with leadership experience and past work experience managing teams performing trades. The ideal candidate will have technical/professional certifications in the electrical and/or mechanical fields, exhibit leadership skills, communication skills, and ethical decision-making, and have experience with QMS/quality documentation.
Requirements
- High School education, or Trade School or equivalent
- 6 years of related experience, including at least 2 years of team/deck lead experience
- Technical/professional certifications in the electrical and/or mechanical fields
- Leadership experience and past work experience managing teams performing trades
