Job Description
Stew Leonard's is seeking a Team Leader Bakery to supervise, guide and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and the highest quality products. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year experience with product knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year experience with product knowledge
  • On occasion, safely operate bakery ovens, mixers, and all other equipment used in the day-to-day operation of the bakery department
  • Base knowledge of all areas of the bakery: cakes, breads, bagels, donuts, rice cakes
  • Great customer service skills
  • Good computer skills and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, the HRIS and Great Plains (purchase order/transfer system)
  • Good organizational skills
  • The ability to delegate tasks and communicate directions clearly
  • The ability to multi-task
