Job Description
Team Member position available at Family Farm and Home in New Castle, PA. Family Farm and Home is a family-owned and operated company with 71 retail locations in several states. Team Members are responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store appearance, and performing various tasks such as stocking products, operating cash registers, and cleaning the store. Successful Team Members will be committed to exceptional service, have organizational skills, and be able to multitask.

Requirements

  • Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
  • Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
  • Utilize Farm Hand to receive communication and tasks from corporate office and store management.
  • Greet customers, interact with store customers in a pleasant and positive manner, and solicit customers to sign up for Family Farm and Home Programs.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner and assist customers in store and on Family Farm and Home supported internet sites.
  • Utilize POS to checkout customers and follow all cash handling processes and procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of in store safety issues and shoplifting activities and communicate all potential issues to the store management team.
  • Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, receiving, cash office and register area, restrooms, and break room.
  • Uphold merchandising, store cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Assist in building/assembling store displays, products, and fixtures.
  • Contribute to a positive working environment for all team members.
