Role OverviewThe Tech Lead, Software Engineer, Android/iOS will be responsible for crafting the technology that enables intuitive effect development and design for TikTok's AR creation platform, Effect House.
What You Will Do
Design and implement new effect capability features on Mobile end, define the future direction of editing tools core technology, creation workflows and pipelines, support effect creator community and internal effect production team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent system design skills, UI/UX product design sense, and experience working on Android or IOS, mastering at least one technical stack.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years in software development experience
- Past experience working on Android or IOS, mastering at least one technical stack (Kotlin/Java or Swift/Objective-C)
- Familiar with AI‑coding tools and workflows, capable of boosting R&D efficiency using Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot and other tools
- Excellent system design skills, and UI/UX product design sense
