Role OverviewThe Technical Assistance Officer (TAO) will assist in carrying out the division's responsibilities, including fundraising, partner relations, and trust fund management. The TAO will work closely with external partners, functional and area departments, and the Fund's regional capacity development centers. The primary responsibilities of the TAO include raising external funds, maintaining relationships with partners, and supporting fundraising efforts.
What You Will Do
The TAO will manage fundraising efforts, develop relationships with partners, raise funds, manage project proposals, and assist with reporting to external donors. The TAO will also assist in responding to internal and external inquiries regarding TA policies and projects.

Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business, finance, budgeting, accounting, statistics, computer science, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar professional certification
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in fundraising, especially including work with a donor agency or development partner or international organization
- Good knowledge of trends in development assistance and capacity development issues
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple diverse activities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
